What is flax linen?
Flax linen is a natural, eco-friendly fabric made from flax plants. It’s durable, breathable, and softens with use, perfect for bedding, clothing, and home goods.

Why is linen the best fabric choice?
Linen vibrates at 5,000 Hz, the highest frequency of any fabric, boosting vitality and well-being. Unlike cotton (100 Hz) or synthetics like polyester and nylon (0 Hz), linen is non-toxic, hypoallergenic, and antibacterial, reducing skin irritation and bacteria growth. It promotes better sleep and skin health, while other fabrics may cause rashes, breathing issues, or hormonal disruption due to toxic chemicals like formaldehyde.

What health risks come with other fabrics?
Synthetic fabrics (polyester, nylon, microfiber, acrylic) and treated natural fabrics (silk, bamboo) can harm your health. They may release toxic chemicals like formaldehyde, causing skin rashes, allergies, or respiratory issues. Polyester and nylon can disrupt hormones, while acrylic is linked to cancer risks. Bamboo and silk often involve harsh chemicals like carbon disulfide, a neurotoxin. These fabrics also shed microplastics, polluting the environment and affecting human health.

What are the health benefits of linen?
Linen is hypoallergenic, perfect for sensitive skin, and antibacterial, keeping bedding clean and reducing infections. Its moisture-wicking and breathable nature prevents night sweats and regulates temperature for better sleep. Linen’s smooth texture minimizes skin irritation, helping conditions like eczema. Being non-toxic and free of harmful chemicals, it’s safe for your skin and health.

We sell pure linen bedding, clothing, table linens, and home accessories, all handmade to order. Custom sizes are available—email us for details.

Are your products sustainable?
Yes! Flax linen uses less water and pesticides than cotton. Our OEKO-TEX certified linen is non-toxic, biodegradable, and handmade in Lithuania by skilled artisans, supporting eco-friendly living.

How do I care for linen?
Wash on a gentle cycle at 30–40°C with mild detergent. Air dry or tumble dry on low. Avoid bleach. Iron or steam for a crisp look. Linen may shrink 3–5% after the first wash.

How long does shipping take?
We ship from Lithuania:

• Lithuania: 1–2 business days

• Europe: 3–4 business days

• U.S., UK, AU/NZ, Central/South America: 4–8 business days
  Free shipping on orders over 400 EUR. You’ll get a tracking number via email.

How can I track my package?
Once your package ships, we’ll email you a tracking number. Use it on the shipping company’s website (e.g., UPS, USPS) or universal trackers like 17track.net.

What are DAP shipping terms?
We pay to ship your order to your address, but you pay import duties, taxes, or customs fees when it arrives. Costs vary:

• U.S.: Orders under $800 may be duty-free; carrier fees may apply.

• EU: VAT (up to 27%), duties (0–20%).

• UK: VAT (20%), duties (0–12%).

• AU/NZ: GST (10% AU, 15% NZ); AU duty-free up to $1,000 AUD.

• Central/South America: Duties (10–35%), taxes (5–30%).

Can I return my order?
Return unused items within 30 days in original packaging with tags. You pay return shipping. Email support@lineneffect.com to start. Custom items can’t be returned unless damaged.

What if my item is damaged or wrong?
Email support@lineneffect.com within 48 hours with a photo. We’ll cover shipping and arrange a free courier pickup.
